Ebara Pumps

Choosing the right pump requires a lot of information as so many pumps are so similar and yet all are made for a specific use. Each pump you look at will come with a maximum depth, temperature, material, impeller and maximum pressure. This is why looking at each pump individually and comparing the stats is a good way to figure out the right pump for your needs.

Whether you are looking for a pump for raw sewage, a pump for an agricultural business or just a pump for your outdoor swimming pool, Ebara has the right pump for your needs. With so many compact models, even if you are limited on space, these pumps could be just what you need.

Slater Pumps are keen to stock Ebara pumps as they bring something new to the market: durability and design that works for all kinds of applications. Even in a crowded market, the high quality of the designs Ebara produces stand out.

About Ebara

Founded in 1912, Ebara brings a lot of experience to their production of centrifugal and submersible pumps. All the pumps Ebara produces are versatile and are suitable for all kinds of uses and industries including building services, commercial, domestic, municipal, rural and industrial.

Ebara Pump Models

All the Ebara pump models are made to the highest specification and come with a wide variety of specifications to cover every need.

EVMG 3-18
This is a robust multistage pump with a sleek design requiring minimal floor space. It provides high discharge heads and excellent efficiency. The EVMG 3-18 is perfect for agricultural uses as well as irrigation, commercial buildings and pressure boosting.

DWO
This pump is made with stainless steel and allows a maximum of 19mm passage size through the open impeller. It has a maximum working pressure of 8 bar and a maximum liquid temperature of 40*C.

2CD
Made entirely of stainless steel, the 2CD uses twin impeller centrifugal pumps. It has a maximum working pressure of 8 bar and a maximum liquid temperature of 60*C, a step up from the DWO model. The 2CD also features a one piece volute, manufactured using Ebara’s unique plasma stamping process.

2 CDX
This pump is much the same as the 2CD with twin impeller centrifugal pumps and a maximum working pressure of 8 bar and a maximum liquid temperature of 60*C. The main difference is that the bracket and motor frame are made using aluminium rather than stainless steel. This model is suitable for air conditioning units and heat exchangers as well as pumping and boosting water.

3M & 4M
With a wide range of liquid temperatures from -10*c to 90*c, the 3M & 4M model is ideal for a range of different industries. It is made using 304 stainless steel for the hydraulic and wetted components, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. The compact close coupled pumps utilise an extended shaft motor for better economy.

3LS4 4 Pole
With a more compact stub shaft design, the 3LS4 offers excellent results with all the components manufactured using 316 stainless steel. The high quality is assured as the 3LS4 features a one piece volute, manufactured using Ebara’s unique plasma stamping process. It also has maximum working pressure of 10 bar, a minimum liquid temperature of -10*c and a maximum liquid temperature of 110*c.

3LS 2 Pole
Once again, all the hydraulic and wetted components are manufactured using 316 stainless steel, assuring you of a high quality product. And, like the 3LS4 4 Pole, the maximum working pressure of 10 bar, a minimum liquid temperature of -10*c and a maximum liquid temperature of 110*c.

CNA Horizontal Split Case Pumps
This model is suitable for a wide array of different applications within industrial, municipal, commercial and agricultural settings including: water supply, hot or cold water circulation, irrigation, cooling towers and drainage. The compact and robust design is made using a cast iron casing, bronze impeller and a 316 stainless steel shaft.

CMA/CMB
Made in cast iron, this single impeller works at a maximum pressure of 6 bar and maximum liquid temperature of 40*c (CMA) or 90*c (CMB). Both models can be used with water and other non aggressive liquids and it is suitable for boosting or transfer of water and small scale irrigation.

CDA
This submersible sewage pump has a non-clog semi open impeller that effectively cuts any fibrous matter to prevent clogging in the pump. It is suitable for use with sewage, wastewater, stormwater and drainage applications. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar and the maximum liquid temperature is 90*c.

WINNER
Like the CDA, the Winner Model is also a submersible sewage pump with a non-clog semi open impeller that cuts any fibrous matter but it is much smaller, pumping water from 4” bores. It is suitable for clean water up to a temperature of 35*c and can be used for sewage, drainage and stormwater too. It has a maximum sand content of 50ppm and a chlorine ion density of 500ppm - ideal for use in a swimming pool. This pump is also suitable for domestic, farm or industrial water supply as well as irrigation.

DW VOX
This submersible pump with vortex impeller can handle up to 50 mm solids and a maximum temperature of 40*c to a depth of 10m. Made entirely of 304 stainless steel, this pump is perfect for draining sumps, cellars and lift shafts as well as pumping drainage and wastewater. It can also be used to pump industrial wastewater.

Best 2-5
Made entirely with stainless steel and with a double mechanical seal in oil bath, this model has a submersible pump with open impeller. It can handle up to 10mm solids and has a maximum liquid temperature of 50*c. Like the DW VOX, this model also works perfectly to a depth of 10m. The 2-5 is perfect for emptying ponds and tanks for clearance and small scale irrigation as well as draining sumps, cellars and lift shafts.

DVS
This robust cast iron pump uses a semi vortex impeller to handle soft solids and fibrous matter. It is perfect for wastewater applications and agricultural uses such as dairy and piggery washdown, septic effluent and food processing plants. Depending on the model, solids can be up to 32 - 56mm. It has a maximum submergence of 4m.

DML
Made with cast iron with a stainless steel shaft, this sewage pump makes use of a single channel impeller with a 76mm passage for solid waste. With double row lower bearings, the DML is a reliable and robust pump suitable for raw sewage, treated sewage, effluent, stormwater, municipal or industrial drainage, fountains and water displays. It has a maximum liquid temperature of 40*c and a maximum submergence of 8m.

Matrix Multistage Pumps
The quiet efficiency of this model sets it apart as a compact submersible sewage pump with non-clog semi open impeller. Suitable for high pressure use, the Matrix Multistage Pump can be used for sewage, wastewater, stormwater and drainage.

JESX & JEX Jet Pumps
These jet pumps are ideal for suction lift and come with automatic controllers. They are anti-cycling meaning that there are no pressure fluctuations but it will need a pressure tank. Both models are easy to install with no adjustments necessary.

DF
Made with cast iron, this submersible sewage pump with non-clog semi open impeller is ideal for wastewater, treated water, effluent, stormwater, municipal or industrial drainage, fountains and water displays. It comes with an outlet size of 65 to 80 mm and maximum liquid temperature of 40*c. This model will work to a depth of 8m.

Which Pump Should I choose?

The best way to compare any pump is to look at the various details of each pump including the maximum depth, temperature, material, impeller and maximum pressure. This will help you to make a fair comparison and figure out what will suit your needs best. However, you should also take into account the size of the pump and whether it will be easy for you to use. Many Ebara pumps use standard sized batteries but it is worth checking before you buy how easy they will be to replace.

With any Ebara pump, you are certain to make a good investment. As they offer so many different types of pump, all made to such a high quality, each pump has a different specification that will work for multiple applications as well as very specific applications.
